By using filters in Gmail, you can create rules for messages in the Inbox. For example, you can mark messages with labels or stars, you can archive messages, etc. With the help of filters you could easily gather all messages from a certain sender to automatically go under a specific label.

To create a new filter, we start from the search bar. Click on the small triangle to open advanced search. Insert a rule and create a filter by clicking Create a filter with this search.

How to delete or modify previously made filters:

2. Click the gear icon on the upper right corner.

4. Click Filters tab.

5. Find the filter which you want to modify and modify or delete it.

6. If you modify the filter, write the updated rules to the boxes and click Next.

7. Update other functions and click Update filter button.
